Norman Blankenbiller, 94, of Whitehall, formerly of Shillington and Sarasota, Fla., died April 3, 2008. His wife, Nellie R. (Rea) Blankenbiller, died on March 3, 1998. Born in Shillington, he was a son of the late Monroe and Sally (Noll) Blankenbiller. He was the owner/operator for 15 years of Sound Electronics, Hollidaysburg, Blair County, where he was an electronics technician. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: Daughter, Jean Ann (Blankenbiller), wife of Barry B. Bickel of Whitehall; two grandchildren, a great-grandson. He was predeceased by a son, Carl N. Blankenbiller, in 2003. Services: Memorial, 11 a.m. Friday, Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, 1151 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown, at the intersection of I-78 and Cedar Crest Boulevard. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Friday in the church. Arrangements, Auman Funeral Homes, Reiffton.
